Not really. I tend to stick to the west side. I know my way around here. I feel safe. LOL!

I didn't know the West side of town very well aside from the area Bounded by Westheimer, Beltway 8 and 59. I did come to know downtown somewhat well, and I knew my way around Ft Bend / Suggarland as I lived out there.

Aside from the amazing group of friends I had while I lived there I miss BW3 on Kirby. That place has some amazing wings!

Same here, what's one reason why I moved back. :-) I also kinda got tired of there being no hills or terrain features around Houston. I did find it humorous that the TV towers out by Stafford and Missouri City on the Southwest side are on a dry lakebed and it's the highest point around Houston at something like 68 feet above sea level. :-)

Hehehehe. Yeah, I definitely miss the hills. Unfortunately, it is SO much more affordable to live here. grrrrr.

                      One word: Buffalo.

                      Pray for me.

I was in Buffalo, once. Two things I will probably never forget:

                        - getting a ride from someone and hearing her complain about the traffic "jam". We were going 50. I, being the asshole I am, informed her that this was a *good* day in the Bay Area.

                        - Meeting with a girl from Toronto, driving her back to Canada and, well, >blush< wow, she was cute.

Your's in my prayers, Paul. Look out for those visiting Canadians, though....

Oh, you'd be surprised how bad the traffic can get. Simply awful. I remember one day where it was bumper to bumper, 5 miles per hour... four about a quarter of a mile. Ouch. I must have been two minutes late because of it.

I scoff at Buffalo traffic. Scoff! Scoff!

As for Canadians... those Canadian girls are all gorgeous, and they all wear chunky-heeled boots and leather jackets. It's a law. Seriously. Check it out.

Dammit... sounds like I'd be surrounded by virtual Kryptonite up there...

I'm as far North as I want to be right now well, maybe another 40 miles so I could play in the snow.

I could just mail you some snow. I don't know how well it would hold up, but I'm always game for an experiment.

This is indeed quiet. I'm looking for action and there is none. Inertia prevails. No sails fill. The still of the moon maybe? Shine on you crazy diamond. No, I'm not drunk. I'm merely bored at 5 in the morning.

I was born in California and spent most of my life there until I packed what I could and came to Portugal, aka heaven on earth. 9 years!

About Houston. I've heard the same things said. I empathize.

I've heard nice things of Portugal.
At 5am I am dragging myself to the coffee pot!

Haha, take most of the people out trying to run (ruin) this place and it's great. It's one place not to get sick because the medicine is 3rd world. I got to call a dr what she was last night -- a bitch. Long story, won't bore anyone.

Coffee!!!! I lived on it in the early mornings but just had to stop and I'm not too happy about it. Have a cup or two for me.
